Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Supervisory leader to guide daily logistics operations across a shift. You will supervise teams, ensure safety, and align work with customer expectations while driving engagement and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong planning, communication, and leadership skills, with a focus on KPI achievement and team development. This is a salaried, on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED is required.
• 0 to 1 year direct supervisory/leadership experience is required.
• 1 year or more in transportation, warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and oversee day to day logistics operations.
• Plan and review, in collaboration with the Logistics Manager, all logistics processes to meet company standards and customer service specs.
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities of workers to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.
• Accountable for site KPI and performance metrics.
• Work with customers in all aspects of operations and communicate progress to teams.
• Conduct regular progress meetings, coach team members, and recognize successes.
• Promote diversity and inclusion and seek process improvements.
• Perform performance evaluations and manage disciplinary actions when needed.
