Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a supervisor to oversee the timely receipt, stocking, order filling, or shipment of merchandise in our distribution environment. The role may include supervising employees who operate rolling stock and automated equipment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with WMS, reviewing staffing levels with the Inbound/Outbound Manager, planning daily production goals, and supporting safety initiatives to reduce injuries.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) preferred.
• Automated distribution center experience preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise timely receipt, stocking, order filling, or shipment of merchandise.
• Notify and coordinate with WMS personnel regarding shutdowns or failures.
• Review staffing levels and staffing plans with Inbound/Outbound Manager.
• Plan daily production goals and monitor progress.
• Conduct weekly and monthly staffing reviews with Inbound/Outbound Manager.
• Support safety programs to reduce injuries.
• Conduct annual employee reviews and merit increases.
