Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Distribution Center supervisor to oversee timely receipt, stocking, order filling, and shipment of merchandise. The supervisor may oversee staff operating equipment and ensure safety, productivity, and compliance with SOPs.

The role involves reviewing WMS reports, planning daily goals, coordinating staffing with the Inbound/Outbound Manager, and partnering with HR for hiring and performance evaluations. A strong focus on accuracy and people leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Knowledge of inventory accounting.
• Experience with payroll/personnel systems such as KRONOS.

Responsibilities

• Review WMS reports and notify WMS personnel of issues.
• Resolve problems using SOPs and inform Inbound/Outbound Manager.
• Review daily staffing levels and discuss with Inbound/Outbound Manager.
• Plan daily production goals.
• Support safety programs to minimize injuries.
• Conduct annual employee reviews and merit increases.
• Interview and select candidates with HR.
• Dissmiss employees when required.
