Job summary

RJW Logistics Group in Plainfield, IL is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team responsible for moving products safely, accurately and on time. You set the tone on the floor, emphasizing safety, quality and productivity while coaching associates.

The role requires at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced distribution environment, strong leadership, and familiarity with WMS. This position operates on a B shift Wednesday to Saturday 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3+ years of warehouse supervisory/managerial experience.
• Ability to lead a diverse team with high safety, accuracy, productivity and attendance standards.
• Experience planning labor and work assignments in a high-volume, deadline-driven operation.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and strong computer/data-entry skills.
• Clear, confident communication to set expectations and collaborate with internal/external partners.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of warehouse associates to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Plan, prioritize and assign daily work to align labor and equipment with volume, service commitments and customer requirements.
• Ensure all orders are picked, staged, loaded and shipped accurately, on time and in compliance with RJW standards.
• Oversee accurate, timely documentation and system transactions (BOLs, manifests, receipts, adjustments and other required paperwork).
• Champion a strong safety and quality culture on the dock and in the warehouse.
• Partner with Customer Solutions and other supervisors to resolve issues and ensure smooth shift handoffs.
