Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a warehouse supervisor for the 2nd shift in the United States. You will directly supervise Warehouse Department employees, plan, assign and direct work, and oversee training and overtime to meet production needs.

You will ensure inventory accuracy, uphold safety and quality processes, handle employee relations, and support adherence to Tyson policies. Relocation not offered; sponsorship not available; must submit a resume.

SUMMARY:

Directly supervises Warehouse Department employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning assigning and directing work; scheduling and managing overtime appraising performance; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Keep all aspects of inventory accurate; whether receiving off the floor or receiving from outside vendors. Manage housekeeping in dock area. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Other duties include ensuring that all product quality and safety processes are being followed consistently promoting a safe work environment and performing other responsibilities as needed. Following all safety and policy procedures as set forth by Tyson Foods.

REQUIREMENTS:

• - Education: Bachelor s degree or equivalent preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required or 3 years of work experience in a relevant position in food manufacturing.
• - Experience: 1+ years of experience in warehousing preferred. 1+ years of supervisory/managerial experience preferred.
• - Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are preferred but not required.
• - Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• - Travel: Some travel may be required to attend training classes.
• - Special Skills: Motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn and the ability to lead others.
• - Must reside in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
• - Must submit a resume to be considered.
