Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead receiving, shipping and inventory control at our New York facility. You will train associates on equipment, enforce safety policies and ensure accurate product flow to maintain flawless in-sequence delivery.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), 2+ years of college, and 2+ years of operational management experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; two years of college coursework required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years of operational management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach, follow and audit safety policies and procedures.
• Train associates on material handling equipment (order picker, electric pallet jack, stand-up forklift).
• Train associates in the use of our warehouse management systems.
• Oversee furniture receiving, shipping and preparation to achieve perfect product in perfect sequence.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new programs.
• Two years operational management experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, lower, push, pull all sizes of furniture up to and in excess of 100 lbs.
