Bluewater Hayes Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain/Warehouse Supervisor to join our client’s manufacturing team. This hands-on supervisory role oversees a warehouse operations team, focusing on receiving, inventory management and ensuring timely customer shipments.

The role emphasizes leadership, planning, and lean replenishment principles to optimize material flow and production support in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in Logistics or Warehouse Supervision within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience in production planning and scheduling, inventory management, shipping and receiving.
• Understanding of lean replenishment concepts (kanban, JIT, pull systems) and MRPs, ERP and WMS ( Oracle/SAP preferred ).
• Exceptional analytical abilities and advanced use of MS Excel.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and potential to advance within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on supervisor role with responsibilities for managing a team and processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Support warehouse operations, receiving and inventory management to ensure on-hand materials and timely customer shipments.
• Oversee line-side replenishment and receiving as part of warehouse operations.
• Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, past-due dollars, and inventory turns.

Job description

Our client, a well-renowned large manufacturing firm, is seeking a Supply Chain/Warehouse Supervisor to join their team. This is a hands‑on, working supervisor role with responsibilities for managing a team and processes within a fast‑paced, customer‑focused manufacturing environment. The Supply Chain and Warehouse Supervisor will support warehouse operations, receiving, and inventory management to ensure on‑hand and available production materials and timely customer shipments. Key performance indicators include customer on‑time delivery, past‑due dollars, and inventory management (value and turns).

This is a supervisor role overseeing the warehouse team responsible for line‑side replenishment and receiving.

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related field highly preferred
• 2-5 years of experience in Logistics or Warehouse Supervision, Supply Chain or Inventory Supervision within a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Experience in production planning and scheduling, inventory management, shipping and receiving
• Firm understanding of lean materials (kanban, JIT, pull systems) replenishment process and Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), ERP and WMS's (Oracle or SAP preferred)
• Exceptional analytical abilities and advanced use of MS Excel
• Demonstrated leadership experience and potential to advance within the organization.

Additional Information:

• Must be able to consistently work in a warehouse environment during the first shift business hours.
