Warehouse Supervisor
This Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily incoming, inventory and replenishment operations to ensure timely receipts, accurate inventory management, organization, and on‑time fulfillment to support all end users.
The role manages a team of materials handlers, leading to ensure adherence to company SOPs and all safety requirements. It supports KPIs, projects, SOP review, updates, and process improvements through change controls with collaborative partners, effectively using ERP.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the materials team, provide training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Plan schedule activities to meet operational requirements.
- Oversee receipts, inventory accuracy, and all replenishment needs, ensuring traceability with ERP and associated documentation.
- Initiate and complete investigations, corrective and preventive actions.
- Initiate and complete change control supports and implementations.
- Update and create SOPs and work instructions.
- Review metrics and lead process improvement projects.
- Ensure training and all requirements to support team performance are coordinated, improved with quality, and reviewed.
- Support multiple warehouses and be onsite, including traveling between sites as needed.
- Flexibly accommodate shifts and hours required to support the business (e.g., first shift, staggered shift, and future changes for development and expansion projects).
- Conduct meetings, utilize Microsoft Teams, prepare PowerPoint presentations, and use Excel basic formulas to communicate effectively with partners and drive results.
- Provide data for KPI support for warehouse operations and improvements by gathering data.
- Proactively plan and remain reactive to support where needed.
- Perform all tasks assigned to support Supply Chain operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum associate’s degree; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
- 5+ years of ERP usage and document management systems.
- 2+ years of supervision or 4+ years of lead roles in GMP‑regulated environments with progressive development and accomplishments.
- Equivalent combination of experience considered.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and quality expectations managing temperature‑sensitive products.
- 2+ years of forklift, box truck, and all associated warehouse equipment experience, including standalone cold/frozen storage units.
- 2+ years of supply chain and logistics experience.
- DOT 49CFR or IATA understanding and/or certification preferred.
- Excellent organization, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast‑paced environment.
