Job summary

Cacique Foods, LLC. in Amarillo, TX is hiring a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure safe and accurate handling of materials, and support our commitment to quality, service, and food safety.

The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, coordination with production and logistics, and coaching the warehouse team to improve safety and efficiency. This position requires leadership, knowledge of WMS and HACCP/GMP standards, and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
  • Five or more years of warehouse operations experience, preferably within food manufacturing
  • Two or more years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Knowledge of inventory control, shipping, receiving, and warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Understanding of HACCP, GMP, FDA regulations, and food safety requirements
  • Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
  • Microsoft Office proficiency and familiarity with labor and materials management systems
  • Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma certification preferred
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate, timely receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through audits and warehouse management systems, helping maintain operational efficiency and product availability.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and logistics teams to support production schedules and customer service goals.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements including HACCP, GMP, and FDA standards.
  • Train, coach, and direct warehouse team members to promote safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shipping issues, and process gaps to minimize disruptions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready warehouse environment that supports operational excellence.

How You'll Make an Impact

Operations run across day, evening, and overnight hours to keep production moving.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays based on production needs.

What You Bring to the Team

Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Frequently stand, walk, sit, communicate, and work around moving equipment and industrial machinery.
  • Use hands and fingers continuously to operate equipment, systems, and materials.
  • Work in environments with varying temperatures, including hot, cold, wet, and humid conditions.
  • Occasionally climb, balance, bend, stoop, push, pull, and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors as business needs require.
