G&W Electric Co. is seeking a Material Handler II in the Central Warehouse in Illinois. You will move materials between cells and the central warehouse, verify quantities and part numbers, and perform inventory transactions in the business system.

You will unload, store, and move materials, operate PIT equipment, and support manufacturing with accurate paperwork and cycle counts. A valid forklift certification and high school diploma are required.

Formación

• Must be able to safely use pallet jacks, forklifts, stackers and other manual and powered moving equipment.
• Must be able to read and interpret Bills of Material.
• Must have intermediate level computer skills.
• Has the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others to support the manufacturing processes.
• Must be able to provide proof of previous forklift certification and demonstrate safe operation of sit-down and stand-up PIT.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Unload, move and store a variety of materials, parts or products and perform Bin Maintenance as needed.
• Unload incoming materials, verify quantities and part numbers, report shortages or damaged material, and move to storage areas.
• Move materials between cells following routing, delivery tickets or orders.
• Fill orders from storage areas and warehouse stock and deliver to designated cells.
• Operate hand truck and powered lift trucks to move materials and stack pallets.
• Load outgoing trucks using hand truck or lift truck and perform inventory transactions in the business system.
