Job summary

G&W Electric Co. in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Material Handler II for the Central Warehouse to move materials, perform inventory transactions, and support manufacturing processes.

This role requires forklift certification, ability to operate Power Industrial Trucks (sit-down/stand-up), and reading Bills of Material. Candidates should have 1–3 years of manufacturing experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have valid forklift certification and ability to operate PIT.
• Reads Bills of Material and uses basic computer systems.
• 1–3 years in manufacturing environment preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Unload, move and store materials across the central warehouse.
• Prepare and process inventory transactions in the business system.
• Fill orders and deliver to designated cells or lines.
• Inspect, document and report shortages or damaged materials.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Contribute to team training and safety compliance.
