Job summary

QXO is seeking a Warehouse Specialist in the Ashland, VA area to support receiving, storage and distribution of inventory. The role requires safe operation of a forklift or pallet jack and adherence to cycle counting processes.

Candidates should have warehouse experience, basic math skills, and a valid driver’s license if driving is part of the job. Forklift certification is preferred but not required; the position is safety sensitive with local travel expectations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• If operating a vehicle for company purposes, a valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to use a handheld scanning unit.
• Compute basic math problems.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, receive, store and distribute inventory.
• Safely operate forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Cycle count inventory and report wear/defects to supervision.
• Ensure loads are secured to minimize damage and breakage.
• Stand up to 12 hours and perform physical loading/unloading duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
