Job summary

The Supply Room in Ashland, VA is seeking a dedicated Receiving Clerk to unload shipments, verify contents, and process paperwork in our fast-paced warehouse. You will direct received goods to the correct locations and support outbound freight processing to vendors and customers.

Ideal candidates have basic math and computer skills, strong communication, and the ability to follow directions with attention to detail. Prior forklift experience and ability to work safely are required.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and process inbound and outbound freight.
• Verify paperwork, route receipts, and stock per SOP.
• Process backorders and prepare orders for delivery to customers.
• Ensure outbound orders are accurately packed with correct labels.
• Inspect stock items for wear or defects before release.
• Maintain safe, clean, and compliant work environment.
• Assist service teams by moving furniture and equipment as needed.
• Support general facility upkeep and waste/recycling tasks.
