Job summary

QXO in North Carolina is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to perform a variety of material handling duties, including loading and unloading trucks, inventory, receiving and shipping, and daily cycle counts. You will help keep the site organized and compliant with safety policies while supporting installers and customers.

This safe, hands-on role requires standing for long periods, forklift certification, and a valid driver's license for occasional deliveries.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license required if operating a vehicle.
• Forklift certification.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to stand for 8–10 hours.
• Safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Load in/load out activities, material handling, inventory, receiving and shipping.
• Load/unload installers’ trucks; adhere to Load In / Load Out policies.
• Pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy, conduct stock checks, restock and label vendor products, maintain displays, move/store/replenish material, and perform daily cycle counts.
• Receive and inspect inbound material orders from approved vendors.
• Cycle count inventory and report any damaged shipments.
• Ensure loads are complete and secured to minimize damage.
• Make occasional deliveries to job sites or customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
