Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for the 2nd shift at our Chula Vista, CA facility. You will be responsible for receiving parts and preparing inventory for shipment, maintaining organized storage, and adhering to safety standards. The role is onsite and aligned with IAM Local 755.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 2:30pm to 11:00pm after training. Candidates should have a HS diploma or GED and warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Pull parts stored in inventory for customer orders.

Collins Aerospace is looking for a Warehouse Specialist – 2nd Shift for the Aftermarket team. In this position you will be responsible for receiving of parts and preparing inventory for shipment to the client. This position requires you to be always organized and safety conscious.

This position is based on-site at our Chula Vista, CA facility and will be part of the IAM Local 755

This is a 2nd shift position required to work Monday - Friday (2:30pm - 11pm) after training concludes.

What You Will Do

• Pull parts that have been stored in a warehouse stored as inventory
• Cycle counting of inventory
• Opening of supplier product to be stored in a warehouse
• Box and prep customer orders for shipment
• Process, store, and send inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules
• Load and unload orders from various carriers and freight forwarders
• Organize incoming deliveries
• Apply the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels
• Operate licensed lift trucks of any capacity
• Maintain good shop practices including safety and housekeeping
• This position stands for long periods of time
• You will be carrying loads up to 30 pounds
