Job summary

VSE Aviation is seeking a Senior Warehouse Associate in San Bernardino, CA for 1st shift. You will perform order fulfillment, receiving, and inventory control while ensuring accurate export/import documentation and efficient shipping processes.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years of relevant experience, ability to lift 40 pounds, and basic software skills with Word/Outlook. Forklift operation is a plus and background checks may apply.

Job Location: San Bernardino, CA 41048, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $19.46 - $27.97 Hourly, Job Shift: 1st Shift, Job Category: Non DOT - Safety Sensitive Position, SUMMARY: As part of a leading Global Aerospace Distributor, the Senior Warehouse Associate is responsible for understanding and executing all facets of operational processes including order fulfillment, receiving, domestic / international shipping, and inventory control. The Senior Warehouse Associate will be required to work in a team environment to achieve the expected results.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Order Picking and Packaging
• Receiving, Packing, and Storing material in warehouse locations
• General understanding of vendor paperwork upon receiving and shipping
• Prepare orders for domestic and international shipping and verify all required documentation is included
• Responsible for producing Export / Customs documentation, which includes SLI’s and AES filings
• Contacts Freight Forwarders to coordinate shipments
• Performs inventory cycle counts and makes appropriate inventory adjustments as needed
• Ensures warehouse and workstations are clean and organized.
• Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Qualifications: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 1-2 years of relevant/technical work experience.
• AOG duty, on call service rotation.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
• Proficiency in using various software, mainly Microsoft Office Word and Outlook.
• Ability to read and write at a proficient level

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate degree or technical certification.
• 2+ years of operational/warehouse work experience.
• Intermediate computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of Component Control Quantum.
• Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack
