Job summary

Datamars, Inc. seeks a Warehouse Associate in Texas to receive, process, and organize stock, pick/pack shipments, and maintain inventory controls. You will operate warehouse equipment and ensure safety and accuracy in daily tasks within a busy distribution environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of warehouse experience, plus a current forklift license. Some lifting and physical demands apply; standard hours are Monday–Friday with occasional overtime.

Job Summary:

Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock

and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing,

organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Essential Functions:

Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks,

Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pick, pack, wrap,

label, place in delivery area, ship, and load),

Receive and process warehouse stock, Sort, label, and place materials on racks, shelves or in

bins according to organizational standards,

Open bales, crates and other containers,

Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording

amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist

in counting of physical inventory,

Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits,

Report any discrepancies,

Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers,

Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment

Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work

stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness

and optimize space utilization at all times,

Wear the proper safety equipment.

Minimum Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred,

1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferred,

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to

fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The employee is occasionally

exposed to a variety of extreme conditions in the warehouse. Safety glasses must be worn at all times.

Physical Demands:

Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance

Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

Regularly required to reach with hands and arms in a repetitive motion

Must be able to stand on their feet 2-3 hours at a time if required to perform essential

duties satisfactorily. Breaks are given every 2 hours totaling 7.5 hours for an 8-hour shift.

Must have good hand/eye coordination.

May be required to stretch, twist, sit and or walk

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA,

FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or

quantitative productivity standards

Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and

talk or hear

Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh

more than 100 lbs.

Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl

Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance

Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision,

peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

Position Type & Work Schedule

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are

generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Some weekend and overtime hours are

required.

Travel:

No travel is expected for this position.
