Job summary
Gregory Poole Equipment Company in Richmond is seeking an Account Manager - Warehouse Solutions to analyze customer facilities and propose storage rack systems, mezzanines, in-plant offices, and related equipment to boost productivity and safety while reducing costs.
You will lead warehouse solution projects from planning and BOMs to delivery, installation and customer sign-off, coordinating with sales teams, vendors, and contractors, and providing product training to the sales force.
Qualifications
- Two-year college degree in business or technical field.
- Engineering/related discipline preferred for higher qualification.
- Experience in material handling sales or project management is required.
Responsibilities
- Survey customer facilities and develop proposals for storage systems and related equipment.
- Monitor industry trends and maintain vendor contacts across a broad range of material handling products.
- Develop and maintain connections with contractors/installers.
- Manage warehouse solution projects including plans, drawings, BOMs and quotes.
- Coordinate delivery, unloading and installation of materials.
- Provide training to sales force or coordinate with manufacturers representatives.
