This position is not remote, and RJW does not provide relocation assistance.
Job Purpose:
This role reports to the Warehouse Manager and involves supervising warehouse operations, communicating between shifts, managing staff, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and overseeing all computer and paperwork processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assign work for 1st shift warehouse staff, considering customer specifications.
- Oversee outbound freight loading per customer requirements.
- Review deliveries for quality and conditions; report issues with documentation or photos as needed.
- Manage shipment paperwork, including scanning BOLs.
- Verify and record shipments, ensuring accuracy against paperwork.
- Monitor shipment quality and compliance with customer specs.
- Update staff on customer requirement changes and ensure proper training.
- Coordinate with CSS teams and respond to inquiries.
- Communicate with 2nd shift via email to ensure smooth workflow transitions.
- Ensure safety, training, and development in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
- Oversee computer data entry accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage employee timesheets and monitor overtime.
- Perform daily building checks and coordinate maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to AIB guidelines for handling food products, if applicable.
- Complete safety and equipment checklists, issue corrective actions as needed.
- Handle accident reports and emergency procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of supervisory/managerial experience in a warehouse setting.
- Dispatch experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Smart Turn or TMW software is a plus.
- Experience with Warehouse Management and LTL dispatch.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and requirements.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED required.
