Warehouse Supervisor (Shipping) - 4PM-12:30AM

Job Purpose: This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and involves supervising warehouse operations, communicating shift transitions, managing staff performance, overseeing paperwork flow, and ensuring safety and compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assign work for 1st shift warehouse staff based on customer specifications.
- Oversee loading of outbound freight according to customer requirements.
- Review deliveries for quality and condition; report issues with clear, decisive information.
- Manage shipment paperwork processing, including scanning BOLs.
- Verify and record all shipments, ensuring accuracy against paperwork.
- Monitor shipment quality and accuracy as per customer specifications.
- Ensure staff meets customer requirements and is trained on updates.
- Communicate with CSS teams and respond to inquiries, implementing necessary actions.
- Coordinate with 2nd shift via email for smooth transition of daily operations.
- Ensure safety, training, and development of employees, drivers, and contractors per OSHA and RJW policies.
- Oversee data entry accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage employee timesheets and monitor overtime hours.
- Perform daily building checks and coordinate maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to AIB standards, including training for handling food products.
- Complete safety and equipment checklists, issuing corrective actions as needed.
- Handle accident reporting and emergency notifications.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager or COO.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of warehouse supervisory or managerial experience.
- Dispatch and dock supervision experience.
- Familiarity with Smart Turn or TMW software is a plus.
- Knowledge of warehouse management, LTL dispatch, and DOT regulations.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
