**Please note this position is not remote and RJW will not be providing relocation assistance.**

Job Purpose:

The position will report to the Warehouse Manager. Supervise warehouse operations as required. Communicate transitional information from night shift to day shift. Manage staff including employee performance reviews and disciplinary actions. Oversee computer entry work and paperwork flow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Assign work for all 2nd shift warehouse staff, considering customer specifications and delivery schedules.
  2. Oversee loading of inbound/outbound freight per customer specifications.
  3. Supervise drivers, communicate updates and workflow changes.
  4. Review deliveries for packing and condition issues; alert relevant personnel with information or pictures.
  5. Oversee shipment paperwork processing, including scanning BOLs.
  6. Verify shipment records and accuracy against paperwork.
  7. Monitor quality and accuracy of shipments per customer specs.
  8. Ensure staff meet customer requirements and are trained on any changes.
  9. Update Tee Card board and TMW system.
  10. Communicate with customers and respond to inquiries.
  11. Coordinate shift transitions via email, reporting issues or concerns.
  12. Ensure safety, training, and development per OSHA and company policies.
  13. Oversee data entry accuracy and efficiency.
  14. Manage employee timesheets and monitor overtime.
  15. Perform daily building checks and coordinate maintenance.
  16. Ensure compliance with AIB processes for food handling.
  17. Complete safety checklists and address issues.
  18. Handle accident reporting and emergency procedures.
  19. Perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager or COO.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3+ years supervisory/managerial experience in warehouse operations.
  • Dispatch and dock supervision experience.
  • Familiarity with Smart Turn or TMW software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management and LTL dispatch.
  • Understanding of DOT regulations.
Education and/or Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Some college preferred.
