Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Shipping Clerk to move finished goods safely from production to the warehouse and then to customers. This role demands precision, safety vigilance, and 100% inventory accuracy in a high-volume setting.

Key duties include operating the Aisle Master forklift, scanning inventory, and generating Bills of Lading while ensuring correct labeling and load maps. The position offers comprehensive benefits and requires 3rd shift availability.

Qualifications

• Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs and operate a forklift for 8+ hours.
• Basic computer literacy for generating shipping documents and performing inventory scans.
• Strong verbal and written communication to coordinate with dispatchers and supervisors.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Willing to work 3rd Shift (10 PM - 6 AM Sunday - Thursday); overtime and weekend work may be required.
• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus; training may be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment including the Aisle Master forklift to unload finished goods from conveyors and place them within the warehouse.
• Use scanning technology to track inventory items and maintain real-time stock accuracy.
• Accurately pick customer releases and stage products per load maps and requirements.
• Verify product labeling for 100% accuracy and generate Bills of Lading (BOL) for compliance.
• Protect products during transit with protective sheets, pads, and banding as specified.
• Maintain detailed logs of items loaded/unloaded, timestamps, and equipment inspections.
