Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. is seeking a Shipping Clerk to ensure safe movement of finished goods from production to warehouse and customers. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and strict adherence to procedures in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities include operating a forklift (Aisle Master), scanning inventory, picking and staging customer releases, and generating BOLs with precise labeling. A strong focus on everyday quality checks and log keeping is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Basic computer literacy for generating shipping documents and performing inventory scans.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work 3rd shift (10 PM – 6 AM, Sun–Thu).
• Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is a plus; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Unload finished goods from conveyors using the forklift and place them in the warehouse.
• Use scanning tech to track inventory items and ensure real-time stock accuracy.
• Accurately pick customer releases and stage products per load maps and customer requirements.
• Verify product labeling for accuracy and generate Bills of Lading (BOL).
• Protect products during transit with protective sheets, pads, and banding.
• Maintain logs of items loaded/unloaded, timestamps, and equipment inspections.
