Job summary

Green Bay Packaging is seeking a Shipping Clerk to ensure finished goods move safely from production to the warehouse and onward to customers. This role requires precise inventory control, strict safety adherence, and 100% accuracy in a high-volume setting.

The Shipping Clerk will operate the Aisle Master forklift, utilize scanning technology to monitor inventory, pick customer releases, and prepare Bills of Lading while maintaining meticulous logs and ensuring compliance with labeling standards.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs and operate a forklift for extended periods
• Basic computer literacy for generating shipping documents and inventory scans

Responsibilities

• Operate the Aisle Master forklift to unload finished goods and place them in the warehouse.
• Use scanning technology to track inventory and ensure real-time accuracy of stock levels.
• Accurately pick customer releases and stage products for transport per load maps and requirements.
• Verify product labeling for accuracy and generate Bills of Lading (BOL) for compliance.
• Apply protective materials to unit loads per specifications and maintain detailed loading/unloading logs.
