Job summary

Nefco Corp. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Associate to handle pulling, packing, and shipping materials from our distribution facility to customers, vendors, or other NEFCO distribution facilities.

You will verify items against ERP/RF records, operate forklifts, load trucks, and ensure correct labeling and outbound shipments. This role requires manual dexterity, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning purposes.
• Basic computer skills are required/preferred.
• Ability to stand on concrete floors for long periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Overtime eligibility as a non-exempt position.

Responsibilities

• Maximizes sales potential through proper pulling, packing and shipping of products leaving the warehouse.
• Verifies received items against ERP/RF system records.
• Loads trucks and operates equipment such as forklifts or cherry pickers.
• Operates forklift and related machinery safely.
• Pulls, packs and ships products leaving the warehouse.
• Ensures correct shipping labels and outbound truck assignments.
