Job summary

Responsibilities include shipping/receiving, staging for production, and maintaining accurate inventory. The role requires attention to detail, ability to use ERP systems, forklift experience preferred, and a readiness to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or material handling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/ERP systems.
• Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, shipping documents, and material identification labels.
• Ability to lift and move materials safely and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Forklift experience/certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, count, and document incoming materials and shipments.
• Prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing products and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts.
• Identify, locate, and properly store materials in designated locations.
• Stage materials and components for production or other departments.
• Enter and update inventory, receiving, and shipping information in the company’s computer system/ERP.
• Maintain organized material locations and ensure proper identification and labeling.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment as authorized.
• Follow established procedures for material movement, documentation, safety, and quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse/material-handling area.
• Work closely with purchasing, production, quality, and shipping departments to keep materials flowing efficiently.
