The role requires attention to detail, ability to lift and move materials, and forklift experience is preferred. You will work with purchasing, production, quality, and shipping to ensure materials flow smoothly.

Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Specialist

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and organized Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Specialist to manage the movement, tracking, storage, and documentation of materials throughout the facility. This position is responsible for shipping and receiving activities, maintaining accurate inventory, staging materials for production, and ensuring all material-handling processes are completed systematically and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, count, and document incoming materials and shipments.
• Prepare, package, label, and ship outgoing products and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts.
• Identify, locate, and properly store materials in designated locations.
• Stage materials and components for production or other departments.
• Enter and update inventory, receiving, and shipping information in the company's computer system/ERP.
• Maintain organized material locations and ensure proper identification and labeling.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and report damaged, missing, or incorrect materials.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment as authorized.
• Follow established procedures for material movement, documentation, safety, and quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse/material-handling area.
• Work closely with purchasing, production, quality, and shipping departments to keep materials flowing efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, or material handling.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory/ERP systems.

• Ability to lift and move materials safely and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Forklift experience/certification is preferred.
