Job summary

APX in the United States seeks a Shipping and Receiving Associate to manage material flow, inspect shipments, and maintain accurate inventory. You will coordinate with departments, sign for deliveries, load/unload goods, and ensure documentation integrity in a fast-paced environment.

You will use ERP systems daily, operate forklifts, and pack items to meet customer expectations. A high school diploma or GED is required, with strong organizational skills and teamwork emphasized.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with ERP software and MS Office.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Team player with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Utilize ERP system to coordinate and prioritize shipping and receiving schedules
• Pack goods to meet internal and customer expectations
• Accept and sign for deliveries
• Load and unload shipments
• Use dollies, forklifts, and other moving equipment
• Open boxes and inspect contents of shipments
• Process returns (RMA’s) for defective or incorrect items
• Create purchase orders for subcontract work
• Check shipping documentation for accuracy
• Contact departments to resolve shipment discrepancies
• Store, restock, and shelf delivery items as necessary
• Ensure the shipping area is clean and organized
• Coordinate transfers for shipments moving to another location
• Conduct inventory as required
• Report major or unresolved shipment delays or problems
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
