Job summary

Miller’s Textile Services is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving / Facility Services Warehouse Coordinator to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure accurate receiving, inventory integrity, and on-time order fulfillment.

In this cross-functional role you will manage load requirements, coordinate with Production and Sales, maintain records, and help keep the warehouse safe and organized while supporting other facility needs as priorities shift.

• Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and complete daily load requirements on time.
• Willingness and ability to obtain a forklift operator permit.
• Ability to follow established safety procedures and company policies.
• Ability to work overtime when business needs require it.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to assist in different areas of the operation as workload and business needs change.
• Ability to meet the requirements of Miller’s Textile Services Drug-Free Workplace Policy.
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory, or forklift experience is helpful but not required if you are willing and able to learn.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and complete daily load requirements and prepare products for customer routes.
• Identify, document, and communicate product shortages.
• Fill shortages as product becomes available.
• Receive incoming merchandise and verify shipments for accuracy.
• Organize and put away incoming products in the correct warehouse locations.
• Prepare products and merchandise for outgoing shipments.
• Load and unload semi-trucks throughout the day.
• Maintain accurate records of products entering and leaving the warehouse.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate when products need to be ordered.
• Complete monthly and year-end physical inventories.
• Check merchandise for expiration dates and help manage discontinued or outdated products.
• Maintain accurate warehouse product-location information.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
• Coordinate the work and daily priorities of Linen Coordinators.
• Communicate with Production, Sales, Customer Service, Service, and Accounts Payable to resolve inventory and order issues.
• Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
