Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Shipper/Receiver based in Eugene, OR. You will pull, pack, and load shipments, operate forklifts and related equipment, and ensure accuracy and safety in every step.

You will ensure products are counted, packaged properly, and secured for transport, while adhering to yard, dock, and safety rules. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs regularly with occasional heavier loads.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Good understanding of basic math for counting and calculations.
• High attention to detail, time management and organization.
• Must be adaptable and able to work safely in a fast paced environment.
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and up to 70 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Pull and pack orders and load/unload trucks.
• Operate powered industrial equipment.
• Inspect products and packaging for damage.
• Package, palletize and secure shipments.
• Record inbound freight and correctly identify items.
• Unload from flatbeds and docked vans and tie down loads.
