Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic Warehousing & Logistics Shift Manager to lead daily shift operations and safeguard our customers' most vital physical assets. You will empower your team to maintain high quality standards while optimizing productivity and driving continuous improvements.

The role balances hands-on leadership with strategic resource planning to ensure safe, smooth, and efficient operations across the shift.

Qualifications

• Several years of shift management or supervision within a fast-paced 3PL warehouse or distribution environment.
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), workforce planning, and operational KPI tracking.
• Proven team leadership skills with a track record of coaching employees and building strong team engagement.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities to resolve operational challenges under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations: Oversee daily warehouse processes including receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to meet service levels.
• Develop operational teams: Coach, mentor, and build an engaged, high-performing workforce focused on safety and quality.
• Manage resources and performance: Plan daily staffing, track KPIs, and manage shift costs to meet demand.
• Maintain safety and compliance: Conduct workplace inspections and ensure health, safety, and security protocols.
• Drive operational efficiency: Resolve bottlenecks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
