Job summary

Staples is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Portland to join our world-class supply chain team. You may rotate among six areas, including forklift, porter, replenishment, receiving/putaway/returns, returns, and shipping, while ensuring safety and accuracy in every step.

You could be moved among roles as needed; a 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday schedule is typical. We offer a pay-for-performance model and a comprehensive benefits package for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to pass a drug screen where legally permissible.
• Basic English reading/writing and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed for business needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to pick and move product up to 100 lbs.
• Assist with warehouse maintenance and cleanliness.
• Support receiving/putaway/returns processes and packaging for shipment.
• Assist in shipping by organizing and stacking orders on pallets and loading trucks.
