Job summary

Viking Electric is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler - Receiving for the Minneapolis facility. This full-time, first-shift role runs 6:00am to 2:00pm, Monday through Friday, with hourly pay of $21.00 to $26.00 and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will load/unload trucks, pick and pack orders, scan items, and ensure accurate inventory while maintaining a safe work environment and teamwork with the warehouse staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Basic math skills for adding and subtracting numbers.
• Willingness to learn forklift and handheld scanning device; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material safely using forklift or similar equipment.
• Count, check and record items entering or leaving the warehouse.
• Use handheld device to scan barcodes and track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Maintain product organization and prevent damage.
• Follow safety procedures to keep the warehouse secure.
