  • Responsible for fostering a fun environment.
  • Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers.
  • Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events.
  • Receive products from vendors and count items to ensure that products received match invoice or purchase order.
  • Process receipts of products and any applicable data into purchasing system.
  • Arrange internal distribution of products received, stored, or warehoused, including delivery of products.
  • Process shipments to outside vendor and arrange for pick up at receiving dock. Submit daily documentation of goods received to Accounts Payable Associate.
  • Compile information: complete and submit reports as needed.
  • Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.
  • Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
  • Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, and damages and discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and recordkeeping purposes.
  • Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
  • Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages/overages, and nonconformance to specifications.
  • Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
  • Deliver or route materials to departments, using work devices, such as hand-truck or sorting bins.
  • Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools, power tools, and postage meter.
  • Attend all departmental and company training programs or meetings as directed.
  • Meet departmental uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
  • Meet attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
  • Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Any reasonable request made by management personnel.
  • Protect and preserve assets of the company at all times.

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and a minimum of three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Ability to prepare, read, and comprehend documents. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak and communicate effectively with individuals and before groups of people.
  • Ability to accurately calculate figures and amounts and perform mathematical functions applicable to business needs including but not limited to counting money.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be able to qualify for any and all licenses or permits required by local, state, or federal law.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in vary work areas such as confined spaces.
