Job summary

Penn Entertainment in Selma, TX (Retama Park) is seeking team members to deliver guest-focused service in a fast-paced entertainment environment. This role involves taking orders, assisting guests with menu selections, handling payments, and keeping workstations clean and stocked.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong written and verbal English communication, and basic POS or cash-handling experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Determines guest needs and suggests menu items to enhance service and meet sales goals.
• Prepares a variety of food and beverage orders according to established recipes and outlet standards.
• Operates electronic cash register system to accurately and immediately account for payment transactions; transports monies to and from the main Credit cage.
• Maintains cleanliness and supplies in side stations; cleans and wipes down workstation and utensils before and after each assignment.
• Stocks foods in their proper place in food storerooms and rotates stock as necessary.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. - Prior customer service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred. - Previous cash handling experience a plus. - Ability to operate a P.O.S. System and/or adding machine and make change. - Must have strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English. - Ability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as business needs dictate.
