Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking team members for Food & Beverage operations at its venues. The role emphasizes friendly service, accurate cash handling, and maintaining clean, safe areas for guests and coworkers. You will follow company standards and regulatory requirements while delivering memorable hospitality experiences.

The position requires the ability to stand for long periods, work weekends/nights, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. Training and benefits are provided per policy.

• Prior food handling, cashier and/or attendant experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.

• Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers of fellow cast members.
• Any and all duties as assigned by your supervisor or a member of management.
• Operates cash register, accounting for all monies, coupons, comps, and receipts at the end of shift.
• Remains current on all coupons, promotions, and certificates that apply to all Food and Beverage outlets.
• Ensures that front line checklist is used to restock inventory as needed.
• Tracks and assigns seats in accordance with established procedures.
• Must be able to stand for a full shift.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitary conditions.
• Performs all assigned cleaning and general maintenance tasks.
• Reports issues and/or guest complaints to leader.
• Serves as an ambassador for all Food and Beverage outlets
• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
• Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise. Reports issues to Management.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Management.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

• High School diploma or equivalent; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior food handling, cashier and/or attendant experience preferred. Prior knowledge of proper food holding temperatures and the ability to identify temperature danger zones and understanding the proper use of cleaning chemicals preferred but not required.
• Must have ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to effectively present proper phone etiquette.
• Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
