Job summary

Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler - Receiving in Minneapolis, MN. This full-time role operates 6:00am–2:00pm, Monday to Friday, with an hourly pay range of $21.00–$26.00.

You will move products from the warehouse to customers, support accurate order fulfillment, and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a valued member of the warehouse team, you will learn to operate equipment through training, scan items, and ensure inventory

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (75 lbs with assistance).
• Ability to stand and walk for most of shift.
• Basic math skills (adding/subtracting).
• Willingness to learn forklift and handheld scanning equipment (training provided).
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes safely using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, cherry picker, reach trucks or similar equipment.
• Count, check and record items entering or leaving the warehouse.
• Use handheld scanners to track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Help keep products free from damage and organized.
• Follow procedures to keep the warehouse safe and secure.
