Job summary

Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar family, is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Rochester, MN. This full-time role starts at 10:30am, Monday–Friday, with an hourly pay range of $21.00–$26.00 and a full benefits package. Base salary varies by experience; eligible for short-term incentives and company offerings.

You will move products from the warehouse to customers, scan items, and ensure accurate counts and safe delivery. Training is provided for equipment and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to operate equipment like a forklift and handheld scanning device (training provided).
• Ability to lift, push and pull objects up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Willingness to learn forklift operation and scanning technology.
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material in a safe manner using a forklift, pallet jack, handcart, reach trucks, or other device (no experience required - training provided).
• Count, check and record items coming into or being shipped out of the warehouse.
• Use a handheld device to scan barcodes and labels, tracking inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Help keep products free from damage and organized.
• Follow and promote safety procedures in the warehouse.
