Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis, MN is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler for a 1pm–9pm shift. Earn $22.50–$26.00/hr, with a full benefits package and potential short-term incentive bonus. You’ll move products from the warehouse to customers, using various equipment, and join a supportive, safety‑minded team.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, scanning inventory, packing and routing materials, and ensuring accuracy and safety. Training is provided; visas not sponsored.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly, or up to 75 lbs. with assistance
• Ability to stand and walk for much of your shift
• Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
• Willingness to learn how to operate equipment like a forklift and handheld scanning device
• Ability to work in various temperatures within our warehouse
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material in a safe manner using a forklift, pallet jack, handcart, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, or other device (no experience required - we provide training)
• Count, check and record items coming into or being shipped out of the warehouse
• Use a handheld device to scan barcodes and labels, allowing us to track appropriate inventory levels
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for safe delivery or storage
• Help us keep products free from damage and organized
• Follow and promote procedures that keep the warehouse safe and secure
