Job summary

Viking Electric, part of the Sonepar family, is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Minnesota. This full-time role starts at 10:30am, Monday through Friday, and involves getting products from the warehouse to customers, packaging and loading for delivery.

You will operate a forklift after training, use handheld scanners, lift up to 50 lb (75 lb with assistance), and maintain accurate inventory in a fast-paced, temperature-varied environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, 75 lbs with assistance.
• Able to stand and walk for much of your shift.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract).
• Willing to learn forklift and handheld scanning device.
• Able to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes safely.
• Count, check and record incoming/outgoing items.
• Use a handheld device to scan barcodes.
• Assemble, package, label, palletize and route material.
• Help keep products free from damage and organized.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures.
