Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a warehouse associate to oversee receiving, inspection, labeling, and storage of materials and supplies. You will maintain quality standards, log data, and support efficient product flow in a multi-temperature environment.

Responsibilities include dock operations, safety compliance, inventory entry, and collaboration with forklift operators. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00am until completion, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6–12 months warehouse and/or distribution experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly.
• Ability to lift and stack 10–35 pounds, up to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Willingness to work overtime and through scheduled shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work area.
• Open loading dock, prepare area to receive products from trailers.
• Receive and verify items against schedule and bill of lading.
• Inspect date-sensitive items and perform quality checks.
• Identify and store supplies, enter purchase data into system.
• Assist forklift operators and help with pallet handling.
• Keep warehouse areas clean and complete required paperwork.
