Performance Food Group is seeking a Warehouse Associate to oversee the receiving dock, inspect and verify materials, and ensure proper storage and documentation while maintaining safety standards.

The role involves loading/unloading, verifying counts, and operating forklifts or pallet jacks in a multi-temperature warehouse environment. The position offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits in a fast-paced food distribution setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 6-12 months of warehouse/distribution experience.
• Able to work overtime as required.
• Able to lift 10-35 lbs repeatedly and handle up to 80 lbs occasionally.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Review schedule and prepare equipment and supplies.
• Open loading dock doors and prepare area to receive products.
• Verify items against the bill of lading and record counts.
• Perform quality checks and temperature checks on products.
• Store supplies and enter data into inventory system.
• Operate forklift/pallet jack as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and complete all paperwork.
