Viking Electric in Minneapolis, MN is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler - Receiving. This full-time role operates 6:00am–2:00pm, Monday to Friday (1st Shift). Hourly pay ranges from $21.00 to $26.00 plus a benefits package.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, inventory checks, and palletizing materials for delivery or storage. Candidates should be at least 18, able to lift up to 50 (75 with assistance), stand/walk through shifts, and learn forklift and scanning devices.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs regularly, or up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk during shift.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract).
• Willingness to learn forklift and handheld scanning devices.
• Able to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material safely using a forklift or manual devices.
• Count, check and record items coming into or shipping out of the warehouse.
• Use a handheld device to scan barcodes and labels for inventory tracking.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Help keep products organized and free from damage.
• Follow procedures to maintain warehouse safety and security.
