Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis, MN is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler for a full-time first shift (6:00am to 2:30pm). You will move products from our warehouse to customers, load and unload trucks, and ensure accurate order fulfillment with training provided for forklift and scanning devices.

As part of a supportive team, you will help keep inventory well-documented and organized, contributing to a great customer experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, 75 lbs with assistance.
• Willingness to operate forklift and handheld scanning device (training provided).
• Ability to stand and walk for long portions of shift.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes safely using available equipment.
• Count, check and record items entering or leaving the warehouse.
• Scan barcodes to track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, and route material for delivery or storage.
• Keep products organized and safe from damage.
