Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis is seeking a Warehouse Associate (1st shift) to support our fast-paced warehouse. You will help move products from the warehouse to customers, using forklift and scanning tools while maintaining accuracy and safety.

The role offers full-time hours, scheduled 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with hourly pay of $21–$26 and a comprehensive benefits package. No visa sponsorship needed; training provided to operate equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Basic arithmetic skills (add/subtract).
• Willingness to learn forklift and handheld scanning device.
• Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move materials safely using forklifts and related equipment (training provided).
• Count, check and record items entering or leaving the warehouse.
• Use a handheld scanner to track inventory with barcodes and labels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Help keep products undamaged and organized.
• Follow procedures to maintain warehouse safety and security.
