Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis, MN is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler for a full-time 1pm to 9pm shift. The role pays $22.50–$26.00 per hour, with overtime as needed, and includes a full benefits package.

You will load/unload trucks, scan inventory with handheld devices, and help keep products organized and safe in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Training is provided for forklift operation and scanning devices.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, or up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Able to stand and walk for much of your shift.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract).
• Willingness to learn forklift operation and handheld scanner (training provided).
• Work in warehouse temperatures.
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other handling equipment.
• Count, check and record items in the warehouse.
• Use handheld devices to scan barcodes and track inventory.
• Assemble, package, label, and route materials for delivery or storage.
• Keep products organized and undamaged.
• Follow safety procedures to keep the warehouse secure.
