Job summary

BBF Technologies in Wilsonville, OR is hiring an entry-level Warehouse Inventory / Purchasing Assistant. This position supports purchasing operations, maintains inventory records, and coordinates with vendors.

You will work under the Purchasing Manager, process orders, and help ensure timely materials for manufacturing. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a friendly, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word proficiency.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Attendance is essential for this role.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs on occasion.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Innovative team player with flexible mindset.
• Ability to multitask and manage changing priorities.
• Attention to detail is critical.

Responsibilities

• Assist Purchasing Manager with daily tasks and orders.
• Create and close work orders; calculate labor and material usage.
• Learn parts identification and correlate part numbers.
• Receive shipments and verify accuracy and quality against POs in MAS 90/Sage 100.
• Kit and distribute purchased products for jobs.
• Pull parts for fabrication when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and inventory area.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and inventory organization.
• Procure shop supplies and equipment.
• Answer calls as needed and track due dates on POs.
• Develop cooperative relationships with coworkers and vendors.
