Job summary

Wallis Companies is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support the Supply Chain Manager with clerical, analysis, and data entry tasks, plus inventory management to ensure materials are available when needed.

You will run daily reorder reports, enter purchase orders into MAS and vendor systems, maintain stock levels, and collaborate with sales, customer service, and suppliers while upholding safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in a warehouse/inventory role.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Skills: Proficiency with Excel and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Run reorder reports daily to evaluate product ordering needs.
• Enter Purchase Orders into MAS and Vendor’s Systems.
• Maintain correct stock levels to ensure customer service goals are met.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
