Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Warehouse Generalist at the Lomar Distribution Center for heavy lifting and order fulfillment. You will use voice automation and pick-to-light systems to accurately select items and palletize shipments to stores.

Responsibilities include ensuring pallet stability, applying pallet IDs, conducting safety checks on equipment, and maintaining a clean work area. High school diploma required; forklift/pallet jack certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Must understand voice-activated picking and be able to follow verbal instructions.
• Proficient in basic arithmetic for order accuracy and quantity checks.
• Familiarity with palletizing, wrapping, and labeling processes.

Responsibilities

• Select orders accurately using voice system and palletize for shipment.
• Verify pallet stability and apply shrink-wrap; tag pallets with ID.
• Perform daily safety checks on power equipment and maintain clean work area.
• Attend departmental and company meetings and assist with other duties as assigned.
