Job summary

MSI is seeking an Overhead Crane Operator in Orange, CA to pull slab orders with precision and safety. You will move slabs using overhead cranes, load vehicles, and maintain an orderly warehouse with forklifts and cranes.

The role emphasizes teamwork, independent work, and adherence to safety protocols. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and 2+ years in warehousing; forklift and crane experience are preferred, along with comfort using tablets or iPads and strong communication

• Forklift, crane, and warehouse experience is beneficial.
• Proficient with tablets or iPads and able to communicate effectively.

Job description

Summary: The Overhead Crane Operator accurately pulls slab orders using overhead cranes, adhering to all safety procedures and operational guidelines. This role is vital to ensuring timely and precise material handling within the facility.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities:

• Accurately pull slab orders from warehouse inventory
• Operate overhead cranes to move slabs to designated loading areas
• Load slabs onto customer vehicles or trucks, ensuring proper placement and securement
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure secure material transport
• Use forklifts to unload slabs from incoming containers
• Organize and arrange slabs in the warehouse using forklifts and cranes
• Maintain a clean and safe slab warehouse environment for staff and visitors
• Perform additional duties as required or requested.

Additionally the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Two (2) plus years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Forklift, crane, and warehouse experience preferred
• Proficient with tablets or iPads
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 06:30 PM, 2 Saturday(s) a month from 07:00 AM to 02:00 PM
